What meal plans do you provide?

“We also provide flexible meal plans with multiple meals and snacks to choose from.
The focus for meal plans may be kilojoule controlled, for weight loss, high energy or high protein for malnutrition or unintentional weight loss and condition-specific nutrition support for diabetes, kidney disease, gastrointestinal conditions and other health concerns.”

Meal plans include

  • Kilojoule controlled (calorie controlled) for weight loss
  • Diabetes
  • Kidney friendly
  • High Fibre
  • Vegan/vegetarian
  • Low FODMAP (for IBS)
  • Mediterranean
  • diet
  • Food intolerances such as low lactose diet
  • Texture modified diets
  • Budget friendly
  • Convenience friendly

Why is meal planning important?

“Meal planning helps ensure you are getting the right nutrients and meeting your vitamin and mineral requirements,” says Vanessa. “It also means a streamlined approach to shopping and preparation and increased time efficiency, reduced food budget and a more diverse approach to meals. Many clients report getting excited about cooking, not betting bored with it once they have meal planning in place.”

NDIS funding - What you need to know

Is dietitian support funded under the NDIS?

Yes. Dietetic services are recognised as essential supports for many people living with disability and can be fully funded under the NDIS.

What funding categories cover dietitian support?

Dietitian services can be funded through your NDIS plan under the following support categories:
– Capacity Building: Improved Daily Living
– Capacity Building: Improved Health and Wellbeing
– Core: Assistance with Daily Life

What if dietitian support isn't currently in the participant's plan?

In many cases, dietetic services can still be accessed if the participant has funding available under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living and their plan allows flexibility in how supports are used.
If dietetic services are not currently funded or additional funding is required, we can provide a clinical report outlining the reasonable and necessary basis for dietetic support to assist with funding advocacy.

How much funding is typically needed?

This varies depending on the participant’s needs and goals.
An initial assessment is the best way to determine the level of ongoing support required.
Our pricing is set in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits Guide.

Our referral process

  1. Complete our online referral form
  2. A member of our team will contact the primary contact person within 24 hours to discuss the referral and arrange an initial appointment based on the participant’s preferences and availability.
  3. The initial assessment will be conducted by one of our Accredited Practising Dietitians.
  4. Following the assessment, an individualised nutrition care plan and recommendations will be developed, with ongoing support provided as required.
