Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist
Isabella is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist at VK Dietetics who brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to every person she works with.
She is passionate about helping individuals improve their health, independence, and quality of life through personalised, evidence-based nutrition care that is both practical and meaningful. With a strong interest in the NDIS and aged care sectors, Isabella takes a compassionate, collaborative approach to nutrition, with a focus on supporting a positive and sustainable relationship with food. She recognises the challenges many people face and creates space for exploration, helping clients identify what matters most to them and what they want for their own health and wellbeing.
Alongside her clinical work, Isabella is currently undertaking research in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) with Monash University. She is committed to integrating the latest evidence into practice, ensuring her care remains current, relevant, and impactful.
Growing up in the Yarra Valley, Isabella was immersed in a community centred around sustainability, local food, and connection. These early experiences, alongside personal challenges with food and anxiety, shaped her understanding of the complex relationship between the mind and body. This sparked a strong interest in science and biochemistry, and a lasting curiosity about how the body responds to stress, illness, and nourishment.
Her practice is grounded in a weight-neutral approach, aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, and supported by training in motivational interviewing. Isabella works alongside her clients to develop realistic, individualised pathways forward, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach and that meaningful change is built through feeling heard, supported, and empowered.
